The NXP LPCXpresso55S69 Board and PORT´s ARDUINO EVAL platform provide development engineers with a comprehensive platform for testing IoT applications and integrating real-time communications such as PROFINET, EtherNetIP and EtherCAT.. The device is based on the Arm® Cortex®-M33 architecture with 320kB of RAM and 640kB of ROM. It is capable as an application controller for the iRJ45/SoM module.
All 3 communication technologies like PROFINET (CCB-RT1), EtherNetIP and EtherCAT protocols are available on the ARDUINO board.
All 3 communication technologies like PROFINET (CCB-RT1), EtherNetIP and EtherCAT protocols are available on the ARDUINO board.
The Core to Core (c2c) communication is connected to the Host CPU (LPC5500 Series) via the SPI. Corresponding examples are available.
At the heart of the ARDUINO board is the SoM IoT module from PORT.
In addition to the multi-protocol solution, extensive management tools are also supplied. The combination of a NXP LPC5500 Series with the SoM IoT module is a very cost-effective variant of applications for PROFINET, EtherNetIP and EtherCAT to set.

The LPCXpresso55S69 development board provides the ideal platform for evaluation of and development with the LPC55S6x MCU based on the Arm® Cortex®-M33 architecture. The board includes a high performance onboard debug probe, audio subsystem and accelerometer, with several options for adding off-the-shelf add-on boards for networking, sensors, displays, and other interfaces.
The LPCXpresso55S69 is fully supported by the MCUXpresso suite of tools, which provides device drivers, middleware and examples to allow rapid development, plus configuration tools and an optional free IDE. MCUXpresso software is compatible with the open source MCU operating system FreeRTOS, tools from popular tool vendors such as Arm and IAR, and the LPCXpresso55S69 may also be used with the popular debug probes available from SEGGER and P&E Micro.
